When I was young the "Golden Arches" were like a heavenly thing, especially after hurricanes. But now they're nothing but a company logo that can be distroy and this picture reminds me of that.

That's very clever, would be better if you put a mint condition Big Mac on the ground by him since we all know McDonald's chemical laden food is indestructible

It's pretty amazing how if the world is in a apocalyptic state, that some of the least expected things would make it through. It's a very good drawing, it made me think for a minute what was going through the biker's head.

its definately an iconic and eye-catching image.
i was just discussing today with my father-in-law, that in years to come, archeologists may be digging up clues to our current era, and wonder who this strange god-like deity "coca-cola" must have been, since they would find evidence of it's presence in almost every habitable landmass on the earth.

Hmmm... call it a hunch, now don't get me wrong... I think you maaaaaaay have a thing with Mcdonalds Business practices XD

But seriously, great work. I've been reading a fantasy book called the 1632 series, where an entire town in Virginia during the year 2000 gets sent back in time to Europe during the 30 years war. The town sets up "Golden Arches" across Europe, which sell crappy oven-cooked food :3

round about 80-100 years or so. mcd's signs are solid steel with cement bases. Paint coating, rain resistant. some have PVC covers. So they last quite a long time. my estimate is probably 80-100 years or so, that sign will most likely last 50 or so more before the base fails.

scientific rant complete :P
