Yalalieth by jflaxman Yalalieth by jflaxman
"Trust not the light that burns and blinds. Seek only the truth that grows clear in its absence. Hope is an illusion, but so is despair. Receive the barbs of Yalalieth, let life become death and death become life. Embrace the greater nothingness, the void that devours, the night without end, and transcend all suffering forever..."

Thanks. Last year I started illustrating the pantheon of thirteen powers I came up with much earlier. I've just finished another in the series.

Amazing. I love it. There's somehow an element of beauty in its hideousness.

This is twistedly wonderful. I really love the vertebrae forming almost leg-like objects. This creature definitely looks like the embodiment for pain.
Love this.

Amazing!! How on earth did you manage to get the silver color so well? If you don't want to share a trade secret, I'll understand. This is a lovely piece of work.

The main subject was drawn in ball point with a touch of graphite, and the background's done in watercolour. The silver colour was a welcome unplanned side effect.
