These elementary cyborgs are made by fitting a human captive with a simple electronic brain. Being fearless and expendable, they are often harnessed with explosives and hurled en masse against enemy strongpoints while regular troops provide covering fire.

It’s hard to decide what there is to talk about first. One thing that might escape the attention of the viewer is the background, given how grabbing the Wirehead itself is. The sky is smoky and clouded, and at it’s clearest the sky is a color similar to tan or peach complexion. A dusty, polluted war, dirt and toxins spewed up into the air to create a film over the atmosphere. And where does the Wirehead stand, if not No Man’s Land? The hard packed ground and sagging wire fences suggest this is a battlefield long since abandoned, the large masses of troops having moved on. This particular Wirehead seems to be one left behind, without purpose. The detail is amazing, the detail of the gun, the bulging and straining tendons and veins, the screaming mouth. It shows the despair of war and the mindless anger of human kind.

I've started writing reviews for your work as journal entries in Advanced Literature, the teacher said it'd be good.

Once again you've done me proud! The barbed wire and barren earth are deliberate references to WW1 trench warfare and the colossal waste of life incurred. At times I've felt imaginative reworkings of history (inserting overly romanticised steampunk elements, alien invasions, time travel, etc. into all too real, and tragic, events) are cheap, if not insensitive, which is one of the main reasons I prefer alternative or future world settings. This still leaves room for serious themes with real-world associations, traditions we've seen in the best science fiction since the days of Verne and Wells.

Why does this remind me of the CnC Tiberium universe?

Regardless, I love it.

Your backgrounds do always grab me attention. The concept for this type of 'Troop' is even more attention grabbing. These guys should be more scary/Dangerous Than a regular suicide bomber. I love your dark Macabre Soldier Concepts :)

I always love the background behind your creatures and characters.
There's always that dark, twisted element.
