A lot of online discourse revolves around a strange species called the Conformist. Apparently Conformists work, get married, pay off mortgages, have children, watch TV and die. I haven't met a single member of my generation who aspires to do all these things.

Anyone who's spent much time on the net will know the top half isn't mine, but it's done the rounds so many times a rebuke was inevitable.

Study Bioinformatics. Improve the world through genetic engineering if possible. Make a living with it as you have to buy food. Have children if necessary, genetically enhanced clones if possible. Die unless you find a better alternative.

I've been around both stereotypes, unfortunately. No one seems to understand the true definition of anarchy anymore, considering that the other anarchists I've met will call you a fascist for having different opinions than theirs.

But I'm not going to lie, I'd rather be the stereotypical anarchist than the stereotypical citizen. LOL
