Pachuatl Manipochtli by jflaxman Pachuatl Manipochtli by jflaxman
Much is unaccounted for in the vastness of the universe, but some forbidden codices hint at the existence of a great primordial entity that tirelessly roams the void, fuelled by an insatiable hunger that drives it to devour all in its path. It consumes entire stars, reducing worlds to lifeless husks, and continues as implacably as the flow of time itself. Yet it is also darkly rumoured that a cosmic labyrinth denies this being absolute freedom, and four more entities pursue it within the same colossal maze. At times, the nameless writers claim, Pachuatl Manipochtli acquires enough energy to turn on its antagonists and devour them at will; but they are soon enough reborn and the normal order is restored.

I know this is Pacman - but your Nonsense-Nahua has some Semantic Meaning.

And there's no such thing as Forbidden Codices - The Aztec were pretty open about the Apocalypse and all their Murderous Gods.

Yeah, I know. I was thinking Mayan codices (the kind the Spanish didn't approve of!)

It was not the Spanish themselves - It was two priests.

One - De Landa, feared what he saw and condemned it to the inferno.

The Other - Sahagun, understood that what He beheld was the work of Millennia of Human Culture.

Nahuatl was preserved - and Maya was Lost.

But What's left amazes to those who can grasp it.
