I'd love to build a 1/48 scale model of this, but the sheer size of it would take up almost all the space left in my workshop, but it'd be worth it, believe me 
Even in 1/72 scale, which is much smaller, it'd be impressive, but I may have a go at making one for the very tiny aerial combat games my club-mates play, using cheap footballs and bits from my many bits boxes to make the under-slung structures So many inspiring ideas in one page :-D
